About Me
My name is MaryRose Base. I am a photographer and artist based in Salt Lake City. I am received my associate's degree in Criminal Justice and my bachelor's in Information Technology (emphasis on Computer Forensics & Security). I have a strong film background from my studies in high school (I wanted to direct films before). I have a passion for the arts and continue to grow my talent in my spare time.
I did a lot of traveling since I was a little girl. I've lived in a few foreign countries including Ethiopia, Greece, and Chile. I also do a few trips whenever I can in and out of the country. There is so many opportunities for an adventure. I hope to continue my adventures not only here in the US, but in other countries as well.
I also love Marvel and everything about that universe. A lot of my apartment is either covered in Marvel (photos with some of my favorite people on the planet) or skulls. Oh, and I love Disney Parks and Universal Studios. If I could, I would go to these parks all the time. I grew up wanting to become a movie director and/or an actor, so my love for movies is...pretty high. Maybe even Star Wars a bit. And a much of other things that would take forever to list.
I guess this is the part where I tell you about my kids, husband, or something in-between. Well, I don't have kids (unless you count my cat). Let's see, what else? I have a younger sister and don't really know anything about my dad. That's pretty much my family (I guess in terms of the gory details).
Another thing I enjoy is playing games. I'm a huge lover of story-driven games that really make you connect with the characters. My favorite game of all time is The Last of Us. It's was the first game where I felt like I could relate to the characters a certain way. Other games I enjoy include Detroit: Become Human, God of War, Heavy Rain, Telltale Games: The Walking Dead (the first one is my favorite -- like a lot people), Tales from the Borderlands, and so many others. In so many ways, story-driven games have helped me become a better storyteller.
